Starfire Diamond Jewellery continues to support these wonderful local businesses and initiatives by being an active member in Bulimba and the wider Brisbane community. We are proud to support wonderful charities such as GIVIT, Mummy’s Wish and the Aussie Kidz Charity as we take pride in making an impact and giving back to our cherished community.

GIVIT

GIVIT is an organisation that lists the needs of trusted support organisations around Australia on their platform. Donors can then offer a donation or give money to help us buy locally. When you give money to a GIVIT appeal, 100% of the money they receive goes to purchasing items that are needed. GIVIT’s purpose is to match generosity with genuine need and their vision is to inspire a culture of giving to people and communities in need.

Dancing CEOs Moulin Rouge Event

Starfire has proudly hosted multiple fundraiser events, including an evening event for the Women’s Legal Service.

A section of Bulimba’s Oxford St turned decidedly Parisian for a Moulin Rouge themes charity event hosted by Elena Gosse and Starfire Diamond Jewellery to raise funds for the fight against domestic violence. It was all hands-on deck for the Women’s Legal Services fundraiser with Stewart Fleming taking MC duties and performances by electronic violinist Suzie G and singers Lisa Lockland-Bell, Luke Harrison and Shay Stafford. A stunning $5800 diamond ring was generously donated as a raffle prize by Starfire owner Shweta Khan who also donated 15% of all sales on the night. Gosse will compete in WLS’s upcoming Dancing CEOs event. - March 2019, Courier Mail

Mummy’s Wish

Mummy’s Wish organisation supports Australian families with children aged 12 years and under, through the provision of practical, immediate and non-means tested support whilst mum is receiving treatment for cancer. Their vision is to manage the distressing impact of cancer on mums and their family units.

Every family’s situation is different, so Mummy’s Wish tailor their support for each family to ensure that these young families can keep functioning during mum’s battle with cancer. The work that they do allows mums undergoing treatment to cope with their illness and meet the physical and emotional needs of a young family. They connect with the mums on diagnosis and are there to offer support during her full treatment journey.
